About Me

I love to craft and especially love anything to do with paper crafting. I have been crafting since I was a little girl but have never really had the time to make it a full time thing until I lost a job that I loved in the Lending Business in July of 2017 because they couldn’t afford to keep me anymore. That was a very rough ending to 10 + years in the Real Estate business and it is something I never want to go through again, so I decided I am going to be my own boss! I want to make it easier for people who love paper crafting to find items they need and want to make amazing crafts.

I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in October of 2014. 7 Months later I lost my mother to cancer on May 15, 2015. She was my rock and losing her taught me that time wasn’t going to slow down for me and if I had any dreams I had better start following them.

On June 24, 2017 I married the absolute love of my life David. We had been together for over 11 years when we got married. We married in Saint Lucia. It was breathtaking! I had always wanted to go to Saint Lucia and we decided to get married there. We stayed at a Sandals Resort (The Grand St Lucian) and if you have never been there then you are truly missing out! (Add it to your bucket list) The people there are wonderful. They make you smile just by walking by. The grounds are beautiful and the entire trip (10 days) was the most amazing trip I have ever been on. We do plan to go back.

I have always loved crafting. I remember my Home Ec teacher Mrs. Thompson taking me to Pennsylvania on a Saturday to show me all kinds of crafts the Amish make. It was forever a game changer for me.

I got a Cricut Explorer Air 2 for my birthday a few years ago. I dabbled here and there with it at first and made a few things and then when I lost my job I played with it even more and I believe that is what got me wanting more out of crafting. After the job loss I started watching videos of all kinds of different crafters (I don’t know if that is a word or not) and I tried a lot of them. My husband told me I didn’t have to go back to a job I wouldn’t love if I didn’t want to that we would be okay. Of course, the worrier in me never thinks positive but it’s been 7 months and we are as he said “Okay.” So, I talked with my friends Bryce and Mindy and we all made a plan that if I really want to one day own a store and sell paper crafting supplies the one thing I should do is start a blog and a YouTube channel. (Watch out world!)

I hope that my blog and videos will inspire you to want to craft and also inspire you to follow your dreams!
